Is it safe to chew Wrigley sugar free chewing gum
I would have chewed it every day but now I'm afraid as I'm new to this diabetes and not under control yet

Hi @Gail Cochrane from what I’ve read I think sugar free gum is fine as long as we don’t have too much.

Hi Gail, welcome to the forum 🙂 Yes, the sugar-free is fine to chew, although in moderation as the sweeteners can have a bit of a laxative effect in some people 😱 🙂

How did your diagnosis come about? Please feel free to ask any questions you may have - no question is considered 'silly'! 🙂

Is that made of the stuff that makes you Mad :D I am sure its fine

I used to chew sugar free gum at work, but then my office was next door to the loo. It needed to be, too🙂
