So does the Codefree connect to the computer? I've been writing the numbers on a peice of paper. But there is some kind of wires with it. I thought it might be to charge the thing.

That cable is cheaper than some my Microdot one cost about £20

I believe Sadhba already has the cable. So only needs to do a free download 🙂

Goodness, I never noticed that and have been using the Codefree for a few years. Mind you, I have a Word doc called Food Diary 2017 (and others called Food Diary 2016, 2015, etc. 😉) and update it with readings and new food details as necessary, though it has fairly basic info now. But I can see at a glance my average readings and so on, and what foods spike or not. So I'm happy with that.

I wouldn't know what to do with that cable thingy anyway, as I am not techy o_O

My Code Free came without a cable to connect to a computer. The one shown in the picture is USB. What you do with the USB cable is: plug one end into your computer, plug the other end into your device.
I believe their is some software to download to then do things on your computer.

I haven't found a socket on my Codefree.

It just plugs in... Where? Not really a computer person. I have an iPad. There is a computer in the library. I'll head up there on Monday.

On the Homehealth site it says, you need to download the free software.
I'm no sure if you can use your iPad , others here may know.
I've just checked, it says Windows only

It's on the top. The Code Free only has 3 places to put things. Batter - back. Strips - bottom. Cable - top.

There's software you've to download. I'm guessing you've had it. You're not going to be able to use it connected to a computer. Deffinately not in the libraries around here.

Thanks, all.
I'm going to the library Monday to see what I can see. Our library will let you download software to a stick. I will see if that will work. 🙂
