Today I had the displeasure of having to go for blood tests. No problem as booked in with the nurse who does a fantastic job, only to find when I get there I had been switched to M 😡 M is lovely but can not take blood to save her life.
So after 2 attemps I said give it a miss as I had had enough. Oh say's M let me try the back of your hand. No says me twice is more than enough thank you. Oh ok then she says the bloods aren't that important let me book you in for the end of July with J as she is very good at getting blood from people 😡

Being me I just said well if they aint that important forget it so another victim can audition for a pin cushion.

😱 No fun! Hate it when it's a fumbler...luckily seems very rare these days round here at least! Ouch!...

I couldn't believe my surgery, they employed a new vampire who knackered up both my arms. Nobody usually has trouble getting blood out of me, but it wasn't that, she was going through, that falming hurts and you always know when they do it or scratch the inside. Heave.

A few weeks later seeing the surgery nurse for part of my MOT (hence the bloods) and I mentioned her being awful she said the girl had never taken blood before, only been shown. So they were using their patients as guinea pigs for her to practice on. I said YOU WOT? and she said it was OK because she only lasted approx 3 days and next time she - plus the other vampire - would be part of the interview panel !

They employed a good one after that, so now we have two competent ones again.

Just thought Sue; if they weren't important, why on earth had they been ordered in the first place?

Well GP wanted thyroid checked, and he added an A1c for a bonus.
The practice nurse decided they wern't important, not the GP.
