Last evening I was testing myself a couple of hours after eating because I was feeling low - the meter showed 3.8 so I treated it and myself to some jelly babies and a dark chocolate kitkat, knowing that I still have lots of active insulin.

Nothing wrong with that, except that when I tested before bed I was much, much higher than I expected! I checked back on my meter and could find no trace of the test I thought I'd done earlier - but what I did find was my test result from before my evening meal, which was....3.8! I'd obviously looked at that and instantly forgot to test myself again! 🙄 Doh!

Oh eck

Easy done though!

It's slightly comforting for the rest of us mortals to know that the One who was the incarnation of the Diabetes Fairy can still make mistakes !😱

It's difficult sometimes when you have an alter ego - ask Clarke Kent! 🙂

The excuses some people will use to eat jelly babies and kit kat:D

hmmm...time for a lie down I think Alan!
I bet the kit kat was nice though 🙂
