I can't do much exercise, but I would love to. My Kidney transplant is not so good now eGFR is 25 if anyone understands that, its stage 4 in failure, but it is stable at the moment. I also have other health problems including arthritis in my neck which causes arm & hand pain.
Can anyone think of some exercise I could do indoors would at least make me feel I am trying to help myself.

I'm sorry, I'm really not sure what to suggest. Might your doctor be able to refer you to a physiotherapist who could suggest appropriate exercises?

I am seeing a physio Northerner, but she just concontrates on my neck & arms, I've just found a DVD called gentle exercise so might give that a go. Don't know if it worth walking as I don't get far or is doing what I can the best way.
Would also like to say although I don't post too often I do look and learn a lot, I am still not very fond of Diabetes but thank to this site I am a person with Diabetes🙂 not A Diabetic:confused:. Many thanks.

Have you considered Tai Chi? I've done a bit in the past and it is very gentle, but flowing and I believe it is reported to help people wit arthritis and rheumatism.

I do some simple Tai Chi most days or a little yoga if I want to ring the changes. And, if you can swim, that's good too. If you have a pool nearby, why not check for a water aerobics class? If you're on the large side like me, that's a fantastic way to exercise as you're supported in the water able to do more that way than you'd ever believe possible. Just going for a walk every day is a good start. Whatever you choose to do, good luck.
