Since my diagnosis in August I've posted so many threads and want to say a massive thank you to everyone who has replied and offered support - I really appreciate all your help. Joining this forum was the best thing I did - thank you. Amanda x 🙂

Thank you for posting Amanda. If no one posts, no one answers and no one learns anything new.

So keep doing it ! :D

I would imagine, for every question there's half a dozen members who can beenfit from the suggestions.🙂

Rob

Even though I know everything, I occasionally pick up the odd good tip too! 😉:D

And as Rob said, it's good to have you as part of the forum as well.

Andy 🙂

It is nice to know you ar benefitting from this forum. Keep asking the quesrtions and we will keep answering. Quite often people will ask questions and I think why didn't I ask that.

Although none of us are doctors, we all have a great deal of personal experience, which we are happy to share and pass on.

I thoroughly agree... This forum is wonderful, the advice everyone gives is thought provoking and useful ..... Thanks from me too 🙂

Spread the love...............this is the best forum in the world...........😉

I'm so glad we've been able to help Amanda. You'll soon be passing your own wisdom on to newbies yourself. :D

And yes this forum is the best. We aren't professionals I know, but we are genuine and caring people who want to help and pass on our experiences. When we have recieved help and support we want to do the same and so it goes on. It's important too that we don't think we know it all and admit it and show interest if we hear a new idea, a new way of looking at things. XXXXX

I totally agree - this forum is great.

It covers all the things most drs etc don't have the time to cover, or at least with the frequency.

I think this forum should be a compulsory part of treatment when you get diagnosed...here's your blood test machine and your log on to diabetes support!! lol God knows I wish I found this many years ago.

Keep up the great work everybody....:D

Forums such as this one are very good even for the more experienced member...

Diabetes is a dyamic condition which can be as individual as the person themselves and this is where support forums such as this one come into their own..

Because you get information and experience that isn't in the text book and even for the experienced diabetic sometimes the different angle given by somebody else or a slightly different method used etc can lead us into bettering our own control... And that's what it's all about understanding our condition, gaining and maintaining our control to our best advanage..

I love this thread x Just wanted to say thank you to you all as well. I have more friends and enthusiasm to keep trying since joining this forum x
