Alcohol is good for you.
in small quantities

in answer to a couple of comments on alcohol, not all alcohol is bad (my mother say's that it is -- sherry at bed time does not count)
There has been a long article in the telegraph on medicinal properties of alcohol, 12 months or so ago. from memory
the conclusion was something like this but much longer!

Of all alcohols red wine has a element in it which if I remember correctly binds to cholesterol removing it from yourr blood ? optimum measure was 125ml per day
The best wine world wide for this result was a Chilean cabernet sauvignon which was produced in an area where the soil was rich in the element.

Interesting...........

I usually favour the Chilean reds........🙂

It's that 'some' that is usually the difficult bit. Alcohol can stretch the fabric of the universe so small volumes become extra large 🙄

'Alcohol in moderation is acceptable for diabetics.'

Thank God! I've given up so many of the things I love already, I would hate to be denied my evening glass of white Chilean.

just as long as it isn't one of those "whole bottle" glasses!

Love it! Nice one Rob. :D

I have 4 glasses of red lined up (well they're still in the bottle at the moment) for the next four days. However, due to the time dilation/bifurcation effect, it may only be over two days and nothing to do with the fact that I drank two glasses rather than one on each day.

Andy 🙂

Maybe if you accelerated to close to the speed of light as you drank it, it would make it seem like 2 days to a remote observer ?

Or just finish the bottle and lose a day ?🙄

Slight issue with accelerating me to the speed of light. I'll put on too much mass and will become insulin resistant again.

Actually, that could be very important. It may prevent type 2 diabetics from ever serving on the USS Enterprise when at warp. Such a shame. 🙄

Andy 🙂

p.s. I have the feeling that I may just have gone off-topic!
