Thought i was going to do better on octordle. My start word solved one in one and next I got in two.

Definitely a tricky day. A 6 on Wordle (though should have been better), then 3, 7, 5, 8 for 23 on Quordle and a 58 on Octordle so a total of 87.

Bit of an easier ride for me today, too. Funnily enough, I’ve scored one higher than yesterday, but I didn’t need so much luck on my side today.

All quite ugly today with just no logical flow to the answers.... a Wordle 4, then 5, 8, 4, 6 on Quordle for 23, and a 65 on Octordle. Total of 92.

I worked through W and Q quite logically, but I was all over the place in O, and only just scraped home.

Decent enough result here (3+22+57=82) for what was a tricky set of puzzles.

Apart from Wordle which I sat and looked blankly at for ages with one yellow letter up to the final row (playing hard mode) I found the rest very straightforward, so maybe our starting word was a key factor this morning. I don't feel I was particularly lucky in other respects but I was quite disciplined for once!

A nice 3 on Wordle to start, then 6, 7, 4, 3 on Wordle for 20 but then Octordle again not straightforward and ended with a 61. Total of 84.

Similar to @Rob Oldfield, a run of luck on the first two gave me some leeway on Octordle, which was much more tricky. Decent enough score (3+20+60=83) in the end.

Found them tricky today, Wordle I was stuck thinking of anything to fit, nearly ran out of options on Quordle, but scraped home, Octordle was tricky but had a more logical work through.

Quordle My starter word gave me 3 very tempting letters in word 2 which could only be one of 3 options and I was drawn into trying to get it, rather than playing a broader game and I paid the price as made the wrong choices first and the word didn't give me anything in the other words, which were already scant of letters. Needless to say my result was X 4 8 7 = DNF
Octordle... Pressure was obviously then off me and I romped through them and was unlucky not to get a sub 50 as I had a couple of 50/50s go the wrong way, but had to settle for 53.

As far as second word on quordle it's the luck of letters. First word a vowel. Second word to mop up vowels gave start and end letter and another vowel ie just one letter to get!

Managed first Quordle in two months but feel Octordle a step too far so onto Challenge when I find starter.
