I used to get cramp all the time pre diagnosis. Sometimes in my feet but usually in my legs and it'd wake me up in the middle of the night, sooooo painful, and I always found it difficult to walk on for a few days after! I don't get it so much now and if I do it's usually after a run of high sugars.
You have my sympathy!
thanks katie (again!)
its gone now but i wonder if anyone goes to chirpodists to get their feet checked?
Yeah I had this too.
I dont think the doctors believed that it was to do with diabetes because they thought that would only happen after years of having badly controlled diabetes and getting circulatory problems 🙄
I was told it was a symptom of diabetes, it was on the 'checklist' the doctor went through with me before I got a blood test, along with the more typical things like thirst, weight loss etc
is it free to see one of these feet people then as have been diabetic for 7 years and not been the best controlled person in the world, its starting to make me panic. Did you go to hospital or see a specialist pedatrist? Apologies for bad spelling, have a new phone and am trying out the internet on it! X
My diabetes specialist is the only person who has looked at my feet![]()
