Hi there - I know many of you have a sweet tooth and have cravings - this site may help - there are others out there like this too! But they have an array of goods that are extremely sweet and have very little or no carbs in them!
http://www.sugarfreemegastore.com/

Looks some nice stuff on there but very expensive. What I dont understand is when they say something doesnt contain cholesterol. I always thought Cholesterol was found in the body and not in the food we eat.

A lot of it is imported from the US hence the cost. Personallly I am lucky and don't have a sweet tooth - but thought it may be helpful...

It is (unfortunately) all loaded with maltitol and other "ols" which are quite laxative so go with care! I can take about 2 sugar free Devon Toffees a day without nasty side effects. I buy them locally for ?1.13 a quarter lb.

I have discovered a sugar free, low in everything chocolate bar. In the Free from range in Asda, this delightful bar can be found for 57p. Tasts just like normal (ha) chocolate and beats that craving. It does contain Maltitol, but one bar wont hurt. More then that and we all know the effects this 'ol' can have.

Cholesterol is absolutly essential to our well being so much so that we do indeed manufacture it (most cells can make it). To quote a certain Dr. Malcolm Kendrick. Why do you think there is so much cholesterol in an egg? Because it takes a lot to make a chicken!" We have evolved over at least the last 2 million years and if cholesterol were not essential it would have "evolved out of us".
