Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
I'm a T2 and have recently started to get home from work to find my legs below the knee and feet have swollen. They generally go down again after putting them up for a while but I'm wondering what's causing it. Is this a common diabetic symptom ? I just had a podiatrist visit and she said she thought I had good blood flow to my feet and my diabetic check up last year showed my blood flow was ok. Does anyone else suffer similar ?

The hot weather can affect some people in that way but have you changed your routine during the day, more standing, less walking about as that can cause swelling, or changed any medication, blood pressure meds can have that effect. Worth getting checked out by your G P.

You need to see a GP for a diagnoses. 🙂

My feet have swollen when it's really hot and i've not drunk enough water though the combination of working from home and swollen legs is not a good combination so please do get your GP to check it out as that's a risk factor for some worrying health challenges.
