Gill are you able to show your results over the last 14 days because 3 days doesn’t really give much of an overall picture.

It would also be much more helpful if you could show those 14 days as they appear on your Libre. If you have the Libre meter rather than the phone you will find this under Review History then press the down arrow until you find Time in Target and then press that.

Hi @AJLang - I only use my phone to scan

Hi @mum2westiesGill on your phone you can find the time in target by going to the drop down menu on your Libre app which can be found at the top left hand corner xx

20/5/2021
7:43am - 3.9 - waking - had 4 jelly babies to treat hypo
8:07 - 7.6 - 15 minute hypo check
9:11am - 10.4 - breakfast - 2 potato cakes - 3.4 cp or 34g carbs

19/5/2021 continued
21:34pm - 6.4 - random test - tested on freestyle libre which was 4.2
22:59pm - 6.8 - bedtime - because bg was below 8mmol I had 1 round of hovis med white with cheese on - 1.8 cp or 18g carbs

Hi @mum2westiesGill Yes that’s it. Unfortunately I can’t read the numbers on it but I’m hoping that someone else will be able to interpret it for you now that we have more information xx

Thanks @AJLang and fingers crossed someone else will come along and be able to interpret xx

I do try so hard to get things right ie with carb counting

Little bit low there this morning but Tresiba takes a while to settle down with a ne dose change so see how you go tomorrow morning.

I would say that you probably over treated that hypo slightly judging by your 10.4 at breakfast time.
I think most of us tend to use 3 Jelly Babies (15g carbs) rather than 4 and if I am only just hypo ie 3.6-3.9 particularly in the morning when my levels will naturally rise anyway, I just use 2 or even 1 JB sometimes to bring me up.

Was the 3.9 a Libre reading or a finger prick BG?

@AJLang The 14 day result is not so good with just 74% in target which is OK but room for improvement. 7% low which, like my current results, needs work but the recent reduction in Tresiba 2 days ago should be addressing at least some of that problem. Then there is 16% between 10.1-13.3 and 3% above 13.3 which will likely be due to spiking from food and could be reduced with better bolus timing.

@Lucyr.... Good call. I couldn't figure out how all that data at either end of the graph could be missing!

@mum2westiesGill There is no restriction on the number of times you scan your Libre and to get complete results you need to scan at least every 8 hours so if you can make a point of scanning when you go to bed, just before you go to sleep and then as soon as you wake up, it will provide a much more complete picture of what your levels are doing. At the moment it looks like you are not collecting all the data because you are maybe not scanning frequently enough.

@mum2westiesGill

If you want to see patterns then go to the Libre app and in the same drop down list that you found the time in target there is an option to see "Daily Patterns". This will give a cumulative graph of your daily patterns. There's also a useful graph of each day's individual graph that can be viewed. I have been using the Libre on and off (self funded) since it came out, until I got it on prescription about 18 months ago. I had also taken part in a number of research trials on it conducted by my clinic. It was only after I got it on prescription that I realised there was an online course on it. I learned a lot on the course that I hadn't really known before. If you'd like to take it, then it can be found here at the Libre Academy.

By the way, this nurse who says you have erratic control, is she at the GP's surgery or is she at the hospital clinic?

FWIW I think you are doing very well, but do need to iron out those hypos a bit.

@Pattidevans Just to clarify, Gill has already posted attachments of her "Daily Patterns" reports on this thread but it seems like her data is missing from 9pm to 3am which suggests that she isn't scanning frequently enough.

I agree that she would most likely benefit from some online training/study at the Libre Academy to get more benefit from her Libre use and I also agree that she is doing very well and the nurse should be much more encouraging instead of making negative remarks which don't seem to be evidenced by the data that we are seeing.

Hi @rebrascora - yes I'll see what tomorrow mornings score is.

Thanks for saying about the jelly babies - I will bear that in mind depending what level hypo it is.

The 3.9 was a finger prick bg

Hi @rebrascora - as you can see I've posted a photo of how many times I'm scanning per day which obviously isn't enough!

Here's part of my scanning schedule like you've said
- when I go to bed
- just before I go to sleep
- as soon as I wake up

please can you add in some other times for me of when to scan?
