Hi ..just seen advert for yellow pea pasta. Is this something we can eat ?

It's very high in carbs. 55g in an 80g portion.
I, personally, wouldn't use it.

We can eat anything except poison, the key is portion size (less pasta, more veg and protein), food pairing (eg have cheese with it to slow the carbs down) and exercise (eg a walk after might help)

That one is higher carb than some of the other non wheat pastas.
Edamame bean or blackbean pasta is much lower carb. Can usually be found in the Free From section of the supermarket, H & B or on line.

I have this now and again. At £3 for a 334g box, it’s not cheap. I get six portions of around 115g cooked weight. I cook till just al dente, freeze in portions and re cook, when needed for a few minutes in boiling water. For me, not too unfriendly on BG and it tastes much more like conventional pasta than the likes of Edamame pasta.
