So think I have found a new addiction - mission deli wheat & white mini wraps, I'm thinking about trying that out instead of my usual Chinese tomorrow and see if that stops the slightly higher readings on a Sunday morning, today I had 2 filled with roast beef and mayonnaise with chives but what other delicious fillings do you guys have in mind, bear in mind I want it to have a kind of takeaway feel to it x

Fried chicken goujons with coleslaw
Jerk chicken
Fajita mince and peppers
Piri-piri chicken and mayo
Lamb/chicken shwarma and yoghurt

Try making your own coleslaw, that way you can chuck whatever flavours you want then just add chicken, tuna, gammon or anything you like really. Pack in some tomatoes, lettuce, jalapeños, olives or peppers. Fast food in a healthy way. Make the Tom Kerrick flat breads and you an really good meal and zero guilt. @wirralass you might like these ideas.

Sorry to be a pain but is the flatbread recipe on here do you know or will I have to google it, I'll check in a minute but if you know off hand that would be great 🙂 and the only thing that is a no no in your suggestion is olives I really can't stand the things haha x

40g butter, 60g coconut flower, 15g powdered psyllium husk, 1 tsp baking powder and a pinch of salt.

Heat butter until nut brown

Mix the dry ingredients then add the butter, Pour as much of 250ml of boiling water to make a dough. Then cook them like pancakes.

Cheers @Owen and I'm trying to get away from omelette's had them every Saturday night for weeks and getting rather fed up of them haha thanks though 🙂 x

Why are you overly concerned about low carbohydrates. At your weight and medication, I would be very cautious. I should have noticed earlier. Just use normal flat breads and count the carbs.

I know you like sausages so you could make some, slice diagonally and put in the flatbreads with fried onions and a dollop of garlic mayo or coleslaw. Will be a bit like a donner kebab 🙂

I'm not cautious about carbs, I eat about 110g a day although feeling like that's not enough sometimes, I've never had a flatbread so that's why I'm using mission deli wraps they are just under 16g carbs each and I have 2 so not low carbing or anything 🙂 x

Don't I've had sausages twice this week already haha, yes I do love them but is there a point where it gets to eating too many sausages 🙂 x

Mmm. Sounds great

The other alternative is to make an omelette as the wrap.
I had mashed up eggs in a cup today. Meant to put in a wee dollop of butter but put in mayo by mistake. Still yummie

I love eggs but been eating so much of them - scrambled with cheese one day, 2 days later baked in the oven with cheese and chives, then fried on a bacon sandwich and I've just realised while typing this I haven't had a boiled egg in months, guess what boiled eggs on toast tomorrow for lunch me thinks haha 🙂 x

Where do you buy wraps that low when I have looked they have been about 30.

Save them in a wrap for a no sausage week! Lol...grilled chicken with seasoning on would be nice. Grill some fish fingers with tartare sauce and tomatoes! Nice in a wrap 🙂

Oh that will be why I have not seen very rarely shop in either. Though I have the Dentist in a couple of weeks, and he is opposite Asda. So I tend to pop in then.
