hi sorry i should really have said hellp rather than just posting a post but i had got desperate suffering the sulphur burps. i have now been to the chemist and am trying peppermint capsules. and will let you know how i get on with it. but as the heading of this post says
i sometimes struggle with high blood sugars 10-20mmls but particularly when im stressed. what has people found helps keep their blood sugars down.
i am not a fussy eater but i prefer english food. so pasta is out . unless it is the ham leek , potata etc that you get in the packets im not so keen on the tomato ones. i do like cheese pasta but again in minority as it can be fattening,
i have a disabled daughter who im full time carer for and she is in her thirties. so it is a woory not knowing what her future holds. as her disability is not life threatening but debilitating, my husband is also not always in good health .
so becasue of this we have constant hospital visists. and i find it hard to know what to take with us for snacks. or for say a lunch time meal. if you go to the hospital canteen it is not always healthy food. you can heva say jacket potatoes but you get fed up of the same thing everytime.
i like latte coffee. has anyone else found whether this is good for you or whether it puts your sugar levels up. i have sweetner in it no sugar.
i do not add sugar to anything. but only natural sugars in meals .
sorry for long post but just want to help myself as i want to keep healthy as i can and try to lose weight as well with the new injection victoza, which helps you to lose weight by telling your brain that you are fuller quicker. it works alongside your insulin s hopefully it will work but i want to do something with it too myself.
will look forward to anyone answering back. my daughter has found this site for me so im so grateful for anyones help.
