After all of the diabetic silliness of yesterday with my blood sugars doing just whatever the hell they felt like, I am sure that this was just to spite me today has been at a polar opposite. After a short period of sleep last night and only 24 hours since my diabetic knickers were in a proverbial twist, today's results have been eyewateringly boringly extremely regular. Let's face facts, I really do welcome this with very open arms. Blood sugars have swayed between 3.0mmols and 7.0mmols. If every day was this good I would give Eli Lilly a big wet smacker right on the rosey red cheek. To all of you who expressed concern and support I again offer my personal thanks. Slow Runner, SB2015, Annette, KookyCat, khskel and the luvverly Jenny aka Trophywench thank you all.

Only just caught up with your previous thread (sorry!) but so glad to hear today is a better day. It gets hard sometimes but days like yours today make it easier to cope with the crappy days like yesterday.

Hey Rosie, you got enough on your plate trying to deal with your own crappy blood sugars and even crappier medical team to worry about my issues. Mine are now kind of ok again so now let's get yours in line and we are all happy 😉

Glad to see that today is better..... Our bodies are strange things sometimes!!!

I am sorry to hear your D played you up merry hell yesterday and glad it's back on on even keel today long may it last.

With the most excellent diabetic company I now keep I'm sure it will last. If it doesn't then you lot will never let me hear the end of it :D

I think you passed it on....my blood sugars have been in double figures all day just positively refused to move. I even injected a couple of units of rapid without food which would normally result in disaster absolutely nada, zilch, zip. It moved neither up nor down just stayed spookily but annoyingly stable at 14 or so. I'm fairly sure I could have a scoffed a slice of cake and it wouldn't have moved. So I reverse psychologised it, gave Timmy body half a unit and ate a kit Kat, what did it do, yep went down to 5.3 about an hour later and stayed there. Now riddle me that little delight I dares ya. I'm beginning to think I've got psychosomatic diabetes. I actually know it's stress related btw just wanted to let you know you're not the only one 🙂

Glad you're feeling better today, you'll probably hear my screams over the Pennines later when my post meal reading is back to 14 😱

Scoffing cake and Kit Kats is something I can very readily do. Hmmmmmmmm I wonder what's in my fridge this evening? Hang on a minute you bad influence you? The next thing I know you'll have me drinking whisky and singing 😛

Moi? A bad influence? Not so good sir, I endorse clean living, crochet or a little light reading and bed before 9. Of course if you choose to take a large glass of the good stuff and a slab of coffee and walnut cake to bed and indulge in a bit of pre slumber singing that's entirely your decision 😉

Drinking whisky and singing? you'll be into wild wild women next ....

It does everyone good to live in hope, my lad !

I'll have you know that people who live clean, indulge in crochet, light reading and go to bed before 9.00pm live to 500 years of age. Well actually they don't really but their life is so dull they feel like they do. Now all of those who do sex and drugs and rock and roll live short, burn bright and make some of the prettiest looking corpses in Boot Hill 😛

So glad you had a better day today! Long may it continue to be boring :D
