Like @Alan44 I want to say thank you to everyone who has responded to my questions and provided support over the past three months. These forums have provided me with inspiration in terms of making the necessary changes to my lifestyle and hope in knowing that by making the changes I can make progress on reducing the risks to my health and mental state by reducing my diabetes risks. To all who post on the forums, a big thank you.
I went for my three month check on 7th Jan and my latest HbA1c result has now come through on the NHS app. Having been diagnosed with an initial HbA1c of 86, my new level is 47 which puts me into the at risk category. All my other results from the blood test are shown as no action required so as my wife says, that is a 'hell of' an improvement. And of course further improvement will be possible, I hope
especially if I continue to use the forums.
So once again thank you.
