Hi. I watched a webinar for The Lifestyle Club. Has anyone tried this course or have any information about it?

It does look rather expensive for advice that looks quite similar to other programmes that are available for free (eg Freshwell)

The Lifestyle Club suggests their approach revolves around the following:

Our approach in 4 simple steps:
  1. REDUCE SUGAR – in drinks, cakes, biscuits, puddings, sweets and confectionary.
  2. REDUCE STARCH – such as bread, rice, cereals, potatoes and pasta.
  3. BASE MEALS ON REAL FOODS – vegetables, eggs, unprocessed meat, fish, cheese, full fat yoghurt nuts and seeds with enough natural fat and oils to keep you feeling full. Avoid diet and low-fat foods, which often contain added sugar.
  4. STAY HYDRATED – drink water and have enough salt.
Which seems quite similar to this freely-available programme (with video guides etc)

Plus, of course there are lots of resources, and there’s all sorts of support available free of charge from Diabetes UK
