What would you inject on a 1:1 ratio for tapas which included:

garlic bread (small triangles)
king prawns (in batter)
chicken wings
barbaque spare ribs (small ones)
onion rings

All depends on portion sizes, which is a bit difficult to estimate with tapas, especially if sharing. Personally, I'd inject about 4 units initially and make sure I eat enough carbohydrate, then add more insulin later if needed.

I realy enjoy tapas but not buffets, allways getting it wrong. If i dont put everything on a plate then carb count/ judge insulin ? Tend to give myself more insulin. 70% on high side after a buffet 😱😱

If it was me Id do 18 units then eat as much as I can. I would have earmarked a nice piece of cake or fruit and ice cream before hand though. Oh yes I would be drinking at least three large glasses of wine. Hey enjoy not every day you get Tapas!
