I think my pancreas is running like a car running out of fuel. It is spluttering.

Two weeks ago at a clinic 6.5. One week later, same time, same food, same exercise, 18.1.
Now 7.0 again.

I think that the indirect control through metformin, glicazide and sitagliptin is no longer working reliably. My mood and ability to function and work is like a yoyo, dropping to "cloudy head" quickly.

My appointment for introduction to insulin is next Saturday.
Give myself time to read up and get my head round things.
Maybe those with more experience can tell me whether insulin will steady mood and ability to function without the "cloudy head"?

Oh, I know how that feels. I'm a 1.5, or LADA, or slow onset T1 and have that sputtering engine problem a lot of the time, though I rarely get into double figures since I've been on insulin, I'm often hypo for no apparent reason, other than my pancreas has decided to spit out some insulin just because I feels like it. Things are still a lot better now than they were before my Dx was changed when I was on a real roller coaster, insulin has made a big difference. Hopefully it will do so for you as well.

im a t2 and used to regurlary get 25+ bs since going on insulin my bs has more than 1/2ed and i dont get those wobly spells

Only started on insulin Fri eve and already feeling better for it. Still some adjusting to do, but would think it will make a big improvement to your levels and make things more even

My body must be reacting to the thought of going on to insulin at the weekend. Trying to tell me I don't need it.

6.0 mid-morning today compared to 18.1 same time last Thursday...

Its the yo-yo I can't cope with.
