Very sorry to hear that you can get slurred speech as I have had my fair share of hypos long as she feels okay it will probs pass I have headaches last hours after a hypo then it settles down
Thank you so much for replying everyone, I've been waiting on the diabetic team to call me back but think I'll call the emergency team now , will let you all know how I get on x
I hope she's OK. How recently have you checked her blood sugar? - is it high now? Mine can go slurred while I'm hypo, but also if my blood sugar is very high, so it's possible your daughter's could be a reaction to blood sugar rocketing back up after hypo treatment. Or it could just be exhaustion - some hypos are very draining.
Either way, I agree with the others - always best to get something like that checked out, just in case.
