Looking specifically for slow cooker spicy lentil soup using canned lentils.
I had cans of black lentils gifted to me. But whenever I've ever made lentil soup I didn't like what it tasted like. That's why I'm requesting spicy ones- recipes. But not with any carrots please.
I did a Google search but came up with nothing.

You could use some curry spices with the lentils, a tin of tomatoes, onions and add any other veg you have. you would have the option to blend it or have more like a stew. You could add grated cheese on the top when you eat it.
You can make soups with more or less any veg, broccoli, cauliflower, butternut squash or pumpkin are all good and easy.

I think the thing is that a loooooong cook for already cooked lentils will turn them to mush.

Personally, if I was doing this, I'm make the soup without the lentils, then add the drained can contents for the last, perhaps half hour. You would probably need to reduce the fluid in the original recipe a bit because the lentils would absorb some whilst cooking.

I'm ok with mushy as I basically need nothing I chew with no teeth.

How much of the curry spices or paste you add would depend on your taste, mild or hot. Certainly if you make the soup then add it, you can then do it to taste.

In that case, go for any slow cooker lentil soup and spice it up a bit. If all else fails a few drops of Tabasco when it's done will give it a kick.

If it's tasty, but a bit to sludgy, then add the lentils later.
