Would like some suggestions for nice refreshing drinks which are not full of sugar or artificial sweeteners or alcoholic ??

I like soda water with a squeeze of fresh lemon and lime, some mint and crushed ice. Obviously not sweet at all. You could add a drop of sugar free pineapple squash which may be nice.

Depends what you find refreshing...

If warm drinks, then many types or tea and coffee out there in both decaffeinated and caffeinated types.

If cold drinks, then it depends if any specific sweeteners you don't get on with. But plenty of variety in zero and nil sugar soft drinks.

Tap water is lovely with a mint leaf and a squuze of clementine in it

Thanks for that feel the need to tickle my taste buds a bit.. Water is getting boring ..

DIET Tonic water with hint of lemon. Allways a bottle in fridge 🙂

Iced tea: put 2 tea bags in a litre of cold water, chill in the fridge for a couple of hours. Drink it with ice & lemon, or use to dilute lemon or peach squash. Yum!

The fun is in trying them out of course 😉

I've tried quite a few of the "alternative" tea's and some are dire (to my taste-buds at least) and others are quite nice.

Although my local supermarket have stopped stocking my favourite Rooibos Vanilla tea :(

Have you tried adding a little sweetener (even if you don't usually have sweet tea)? Fruit is naturally sweet, but the fruit infusions aren't. They're much nicer with a little sweetener, or honey if you don't mind adding a few carbs.

Elderflower cordial with soda water is nice and refreshing. Or I quite like a lime and soda too.

A pink tonic, which is tonic [slimline of course] a few drops of angostura bitters
a slice of lime or lemon and ice, a very refreshing drink indeed, particularly on a summers day, just dreaming!

I must say gin does go nice with it😎

Have a good one

Lime and mint go well together. Add elderflower to that and you have a winner.

In europe there is an alcoholic cocktail called a Hugo:

It uses Prosecco, a cheap fizz but soda water is good for a non alcoholic version and for a touch of sweetness, elderflower cordial. If you want it totally sugarfree, use elderflower extract. An alternative for getting some sweetness is to add a little supermarket zero carb diet lemonade. It is a refreshing long cool drink.

I've just been given some green tea with cinnamon bark and dried orange peel. It makes a lovely festive cuppa if a warm drink is required.
