Hi folks, looking for some advice. I've been taking Lansoprazole for acid reflux and the diabetes was found via blood test while trying to work out the root of the reflux. Still no further forward on that other than not H-pylori and I'm following a low-acid diet.

I started Metformin 2 weeks ago, but I've noticed that taking both at the same meal seems to really reduce the effect of the lansoprazole. Booking an appointment with my GP for this week, but has anyone else found this, and if so how did you get round it? I'm off to India in less than a month and would like to actually try some real Indian food without feeling like I swallowed lava!

Hi again rozi, can I just check that you are not eating anything for up to an hour after you have taken your lansoprazole?
