I apologize if this is not allowed but I am not trying to sell anything, just want to see if this would actually work.

I've seen a lot of claims on social media that a fiber based product called Balance by Unicity (https://www.unicity.com/gbr/balance/) helps to lower blood sugar.
I understand food with higher fibre content helps to lower GI, but has anyone tried this product/any understanding of soluble fibre?

I wonder if this a MLM company/product and sceptical whether it works as its quite expensive, but many are claiming its helped lower their Hba1c levels.

TIA

When I tested myself on high and low GI foods I found no benefit. I do have high fibre flours such as coconut, psyllium, almond but they are simply for baking low carb cakes buns biscuits and bread.
I suppose that it could lead to lower HbA1c indirectly - but keeping blood glucose down to normal levels seems to be the way to go about things with the most certainty.

This product claims to help with lowering blood sugars, you take it just before eating and it helps with feeling fuller for longer and they claim it helps to keep blood sugars in target range post meal. But i think its a supplement used along side low carb diets, i just wondered if drinking soluble fibre actually helps

It's an obvious MLM scam.
