At risk of diabetes
There's been several mentions in the newspapers recently about pomegranate juice reducing blood sugar levels. Has anyone had any success doing this?
 
This sounds like another 'snake oil' cure
Be careful of any of these claims without checking out the science.
 
I’m always very wary of any of those ‘superfood’ suggestions, I’m afraid :(

Some Type 1s use fruit juice to treat hypoglycaemia. Google suggests pomegranate juice contains 13g of carbs per 100g (the lucozade I use to treat hypos is only 8.4g).

I suspect it would significantly raise my blood glucose.
