Yesterday I found some cartons of orange juice in sainsburies... 'no added sugar' with 2.6g sugar per carton (150ml?) seems pretty good 🙂

I also sometimes buy No added sugar cranberry juice which is even lower sugars slight bitter taste but I just add a little water - goes further!

But I thought i'd treat myself with the orange hehe! Plus i'm trying to get over a cold :(

IS that 2.6g carbs?

Sounds good, shame we don't have a Sainsbury's up here. I'll have to have a look round Tesco's, or maybe I should try Tesco's, or if that fails I have a Tesco's I can search. We have such a huge choice in Snechie.

Maybe you can mix the orange and the cranberry?

Small juice cartons are usually 200ml. Most orange jucies are around 9g sugar per 100ml, so I guess you might mean orange juice drink, rather than orange juice?

Sorry for not being all that specific... 250ml, 2.3g carbohydrate! And its juice not from concentrate. So I guess that means its more like a squash? I'll judge it by the thickness and let you know aha

Since my diagnosis in August I've only drank water and about 2 cups of tea per day with semi-skimmed milk. I'm not to keen on orange juice but do like apple and cranberry juice - are these not full of sugar...also can you buy sugar free types??? Amanda x 🙂

Cranberry Juice

HI If you have ever tried neat cranberry juice, you will know that it will dry your mouth up for a couple of hours -- with out sugar your tongue will curl up and leave you.

I have acquired a juice extractor, apple juice needs a couple of drops of lemon juice to retard the colour change - it will keep for about 3 to 4 days. I juice about 6 oranges (peeled) and add a lemon.
pears work well, pineapple needs the juice of a few apples as a base.
pear works ok but again i cut with apple juice.
