Any of the insulin users got one, there giving them away free i got my diabetes.co.uk email today and it was part of it sounds like a clever thing it automatically tells you when it spots patterns in blood glucose results so you can see if an insulin therapy adjustment is needed.

Anyone needs the link to grab a free one here it is

Thanks for heads up Steff. Just realised I got the email this morning.

Looks like it's part of a trial of the meter, so would need to be sure of getting the strips on prescription, which I've just had all sorts of problems swapping to aviva strips. Wouldn't fancy my chances of getting anything above the norm.🙄

but hope someone can get one and make good use of it.🙂

Thats true , although i recently got a one touch ultra easy through the post and with it followed a letter saying it was mine to keep ,this was also a trial too.Know what your saying like, only reason i have not gone ahead and give the PIP code is i dislike the meter so after using the 10 strips its in the back of my sock drawer now.

Note One-Touch conditions of the giveaway (as usual) excluding existing users of a OneTouch? UltraEasy?, OneTouch? Ultra?2, OneTouch? Vita? or OneTouch? UltraSmart? Blood Glucose Meter.

And I'm not eligible because I'm not on insulin. Clumpy looking thing.

I got one from my DSN about 6 weeks ago, they were giving them out to test and send feedback, and you got to keep the meter. I like it, which reminds me I must send off my feedback.

Thanks Steff, might give this a go, its free anyway and if I don't like it I'm sure I will be able to find a new home for it.

I've applied for one, I'll see how it compares to my other meters when it arrives, though my Glucomen LX plus takes a lot of beating ;-)
