Recently decided i dont know enough about my diabetes to keep as healthy as i would like..SO..have been doing research on carbs..Question..when i look at the label on food packaging am i to be more concerned about the carbs that sugar OR the whole carb content..i feel like i should already know this but it has become awfully apparant that i dont ..advice pls ladies and gentlemen THANK YOU:D

It's the total carbs that you are chiefly interested in, although it's wise to avoid food where a large proportion of the carb content is sugar. The type of carb is also important to take into account as some types of food will digest more gradually than others and so have a steadier impact on your blood glucose levels. I'd suggest reading up on GI or GL in order to understand how different carbs might affect you - The GL Diet for Dummies is a good introduction 🙂

thanks Northerner...i think i have been over thinking it all my head is battered now..hehe..will defo look that one up 🙂
