Other half popped into B&M’s today and found these noodles and rice options which are very good carb wise. Not eaten any yet as we had something else lined up for dinner so can’t say how they taste. Nutritional details are per half bag.

Hope this helps someone

Just be sure to rinse them really well before you cook them!

Yes, they are something that I have used from time to time and they are perfectly OK in my opinion and pretty high in fibre which is always good. I had concerns that they might be overly processed ie qualify as an "Ultra Processed Food" after recent discussions but I don't think they do.
Interesting that B&M are selling them.... Usually means they will be a bit cheaper than regular supermarkets so might have a look in for some bargains. I will no doubt leave with several bags of pork scratchings 🙄

I asked my OH if he could remember the price @rebrascora and he said he thought they were under £1 each at a guess he thought 89p. Not sure how that compares to what you usually pay.

I must admit I don't like Pork Scratchings - not something I have ever been into.

Thanks for that. The Bare Naked Noodles usually retail at about £1.99 I think, so under £1 would definitely be a bargain!

These are very popular in Japan and Korea where they've been eating them for a long time. You will probably find some recipe ideas with them on google. If you don't wash them a few times before use they can have a funky smell / flavour.

Got some of these Chef Kuo konjac noodles and rice at B&M on Saturday for £1 a pouch so a significant reduction on the normal price of £1.99 for the "Bare Naked" branded ones I have had before. Not had a chance to try them yet to compare.
