DSN brought round a "Simplance" to try which has a cartridge for holding 20 micro lancets in, its a fair size and round. Doesn't fit nicely into blood monitoring holder though but that's by the by.

Won't appeal to those of you changing your lancets on St Swithins and Xmas (lol) only as once spent won't re-use.

Just wondered if anyone else has this or tried and what they think ? Reports to be "pain free" but no different IMO

Idea is that it would cut out handling of sharps at nursery and we can use it interchangeably with her microlet one we have always had. Bless Millie is excited with new diabetes "gadgets" 🙄 was very keen to have a go.

Got a new Lenny Lion as well for holding pump at night after I frazzled last ones mane of hair in tumble drier 😱

The Accu Chek lancing devices come with drums which contain 6 lancets that are fully contained both before loading and after unloading - they are only exposed when the device is primed and the button pressed 🙂 You can reuse the same lancet though, until you choose to move on to the next one in the drum.

I did try one, was not impressed, about a third of the lancets failed🙄

Not seem them, but may be an alternative if we don't get away with this 🙂

Oh dear, not very inspiring :(
