Hi guys
The last few nights I have started having a terrible time sleeping, I have been aggitated- I do suffer from restless legs syndrome which apparently goes through my whole body, hubby complains I beat the hell out of him at night . But I feel like the nerves on my left side are burning, from my toes up to my arms. I do have a cut on the sole of my foot from dry cracked skin, a bad patch of itchy dry skin on top of my foot, some small cuts on fingers due to gardening, ..I feel awful. Do you think it could be the start of neuropathy? I read it can cause burning and tingling sensations over heating etc all over? Many thanks

HI @Auntylol

Sorry to read about your recent symptoms. I honestly don’t know if this is or is not related to neuropathy or it could be an infection of some kind BUT it is always best to be cautious and I would recommend you get in touch with your GP or perhaps call 111 since it is the weekend. Can you feel the cut on your foot?

I am providing a link below to DUK information about warning signs for foot/leg problems and would urge you to have a read and if you feel you need to get medical advice sooner then do so. It describes symptoms and details when you should see your GP and when to get more urgent attention.

Hope you feel better soon, keep us updated.

Thanks, yes I can feel the cut, and am making sure I keep an eye. I am due my bloods done soon, my last check up was over the phone so it has been over a year since my feet were checked. So far no temperature.

As this curious burning sensation is just on the left side, it is unlikely to be diabetic neuropathy. You need to take your symptoms to the doctor. For restless legs, I would recommend CBD oil.
