Hi there,
I've been using the MySugr app on my phone to record by blood sugar readings, carbs, boluses, etc. for a while now & I quite like it.

I'm using it in "free" mode & was wondering if anyone here used it & has gone pro (paid for it). If so, what are the extras you get for the price & is it worth the money?

Sorry I only use the free version, but I love it. I used to us a Diabetes UK one that was not as good, they are not supporting it any longer. Been using since January. I like th fact can have on laptop, phone and tablet.

I had never heard of this app until now! I am going to use it to track Riley's blood readings. Thank you for bringing it to my attention! X

You're welcome! I think it's great & the monster makes me laugh...even at my age lol

I haven't paid for it either. Only the free version! It seems relatively expensive for what you get, in my opinion!

Yes, that's what I thought too which is why I was asking if anyone had paid for it - so I could get some more insight into why it costs what it does. The free one works perfectly OK for me but wondered what I was missing out on!

I'm on the free version too. As far as I can see the only real difference is the ability to sync the reports to other apps or export reports in anything other than the raw data. If you're not bothered about seeing a PDF report of the last x months with pretty graphs on it's probably not worth it.

Im only on the free version. Does exactly what i need.

I have the paid for version, not using it currently and got it when they had a really good offer on a couple of years ago for the premium version. Don't think there is a huge amount of difference if I'm honest.

There's also a 'junior' version which turns BG monitoring into a sort of game.

I love mySugr. I have the pro version, but bought it way back when it was a one-off fee rather than subscription. They have really improved it since then though.

This page details the extra bits that you get for Pro - https://mysugr.com/mysugr-pro/.

I find the search, importer (for Libre data) and multi-device really really useful and would certainly miss them if they weren't there. The free version is really good though.

Thanks for this 🙂
