Farewell Hot X buns & Easter Simnel cake , and choco Easter eggs, not had them for sometime,
Liked to bake buns & cake , but I can't eat them ,now or shouldn't, my siblings are dispersed so no joy to be had baking these treats.
And Covid precludes us meeting, even if restrictions being lifted.

Farewell home baking , I shall miss that extra slice of fruit cake.
But not all bad , I can make some Choux pastry , that's relatively low carb, that's ok!
 
If you like baking then make yourself some bread dough and spice it up - there are dozens of recipes available - I use wheat gluten to get a yeasty rise. Orange and lemon zest add a nice zing, or even some mixed peel (I do rinse and then dry it off in the oven to reduce the sugar) and a few chopped nuts can make the buns more festive.
I can't recommend adding dried fruit as I did that for the second trial and then scoffed the lot straight from the oven.
I can resist anything but temptation.
 
That's the thing Drummer ,the temptation, I do still bake bread, but more rolls than loaves, keeps better that way ,freeze the rest
 
But hurrah for Aldi 85% chocco that's where I get my choc fix now, tried Lidl 95% , but far to bitter.
 
Hello to Keto baking it's a whole new challenge so nothing to give up :D
