So I started getting readings way above where they always are - has my pancreas imploded, have they put glucose in the drinking water etc etc etc. But then I went & bought a new batch and everything back to normal. Moral: sometimes Roche's quality control can be completely off.

This was for an Accu-Check Guide which I don't think is available under that name in the UK - the usual personal medical device company thing of different brands in different areas to help them price differently, I suppose - and anyway the strips are for the Oz/India/Pakistan/Philippines markets so I guess not a big issue for anyone here.

But FWIW, batch # 10808285970

There were problems with Accu-Chek strips last year for a few of their meters, thankfully I didn't have any of the effected batches, glad things are back to normal for you now xx

Glad you managed to sort it out. I can only imagine your surprise at the sudden increase in numbers
