hello and good morning.
So I'm 22 weeks pregnant, I've started to become very insulin resistant in the morning (normal part of pregnancy) so I've been put on Metformin (500 mg) to help with insulin sensitivity so I don't have to inject bucket loads of the stuff. I started taking it around 26 weeks
in my last pregnancy and it worked absolutely fine. I took my first tablet this morning with breakfast and about 10 mins later needed to vomit (again sorry tmi).
Has anyone experienced this with Metformin ?? And if so, how long did it last before things went back to normal ?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated !

No idea, Cleo, but really sorry you're feeling so rough. If I were both pregnant and vomiting, I'd be on the phone to my midwife NOW!

Things vary from pregnancy to pregnancy. Ask for advice. DO you have a diabetic specialist midwife?

Hi. Apart from anything else do ask to try Metformin SR (Slow Release) as it may help?
