Low carb wraps

Errr - what on earth is a net carb?
I think it is a term used on American sites and product information where the FIBER is included in the carb value so they say net carbs which is the carb value once the FIBER value has been deducted.
UK where the FIBRE has already been deducted it does not apply.
I did wonder if what you showed in the picture was from a non UK product but the numbers still don't make sense.

Especially as the UK spelling of the word is 'nett' !!

Indeed! And 10g of fibre per wrap seems a) quite high, and b) UK based spelling.

They are certainly subtracting something for some reason, but who knows what!

I had one with a homemade chilli for my evening meal yesterday and a couple filled with ham and cheese for my lunch today.
They taste like regular wraps. They are a bit too pricey to eat everyday though .

One thing to remember is that quoted carb levels are more likely to be a guesstimate than a a result of some clever chemical analysis. At least that is the conclusion I came to when I did a bit of digging on the subject of food labelling.

Does not explain the odd labelling or that the weights of the individual components don't add up 100g. Nevertheless all statutary requirements will no doubt have been met.

This must also be sold in the USA because they only ever refer to net carbs. In the UK, we don’t have to subtract the fibre from the carb count. This is a really important difference between how UK and USA nutrition labels are set out. In the UK, fibre is listed separately from carbs. So the carbs listed in the UK are what our American friends would call "net carbs". Easy peasy, we are lucky not to have to use the American method.

I find all these things too expensive for my budget.

Anyone had these?...

Yes all this sort of product is vastly overpriced, I usually make my own using a recipe I have but gave these a go just to see what they were like.
Yes i guess its due to not being mass produced.
I am glad they tasted nice
