Before anyone answers,i am a little claustraphobic and really do hate being at the the front of a crowd.
But boy when i sweat it comes out in buckets.
I never really noticed this before until i became diabetic. That could just be a coincidence though.
Now i don't know if it is just me being anxious at time or does people with diabetes tend to sweat more.

Hi Jon,
I really only notice the sweat side of things when im hyper, like you say the anxiety caused when your in crowds will certainly make you perspire more.

For the few weeks before I was diagnosed I use to sweat loads mainly from my forehead and neck. In hindsight I was probably hyper as my BG levels when diagnosed were 23.5

I thought it was my age and put it down to that. I even ended up with spots all over my forehead even had to buy spot cream 😱

My son used to sweat when hypo for the first couple of years but doesn't any more. Have you checked your glucose when you're sweating Jon?

I've never really been in a position to check it out
Must try it sometime

Sheilagh,

I used to sweat buckets as well and put it down to my age! My doctor told me it was probably due to the diabetes. I still get night sweats and think they are different to day sweats! Oh the joy's of being a woman!!

Donna x😛🙂
