Any body tried this ? Is it better than using Lo salt as a table salt ?

It's a new one on me Pete! Has someone recommended it to you? Sounds a bit of a fad to me.

Just looked it up on t'internet. I am amused to learn that on amazon, it is simple rock salt from Pakistan. Hang on, rock salt? Don't they mine that stuff in Cheshire and spread it on roads in winter?

Andy 🙂

One of my customers was telling me yesterday on how she uses it for cooking and on the table, Saying how good it was for you, just wondered.

I bought this awhile back. It looks good on the table but to me doesn't taste any different.

I have some, but mostly because it's pink and looks nice in my grinder 😉 It's supposed to be more mineral rich than normal rock salt, but I have no idea why if I'm honest. Lo salt is mostly potassium I think isn't it rather than sodium? The rock salt is lower in sodium than most ground salts but I think still much higher than lo salt, so if sodium reduction is your game I guess the lo salt is better 🙂

I believe Lo-salt is 30% err, salt LOL

When I was first diagnosed (July 2000), I bought myself some Lo-Salt, only to find that for me it has a foul "chemical" taste. 🙄 So I saved it for winter, and used it to de-ice the pavement outside my flat.

I couldn't use it today, because of my failing kidneys.
