I bought the diabetes version for my dad last xmas to see if it would help him walk better, I am reasonably confident these can help and much good reviews by users.
I have only been setting at a low level number 30, it does go to 99, I've tried 55 myself and I can really feel it, I suspect my dad has little feeling in his legs these days so I don't risk more than level 30-35 (might be higher levels would really help, so far not really helping him).
The last couple of weeks for the last 3-4 mins of a normal 30 min session I have increased the intensity each minute up 50-55, he feels that a lot more.
However after being on these higher levels his sugars have gone sky high after, this has happended more than once, last night he was 12 at tea (bit high yes) had his tea at 7pm, went on the device at about 8.30pm and before going to bed just after 10pm he was 21 !
It's not unusual for him to have random figures anyway but is this affecting his circulation and giving affecting his sugars in his blood, ??
I will revert back to intensity 30 only for now and see how that goes but anyone use these and any comment on sugar levels, proven device and Ian Botham the ex cricketer (and DB I think too) promotes these.

I can’t think how this device could possibly affect his BG. It’s just electrical stimulation. What did he have for his tea that took him up to 21? And what medication is he on for Diabetes?

Sorry @Steevo, I’ve never heard of it. :(

small tea low carb with just a couple of potatoes, insulin twice a day, trouble is he so inactive pretty much house bound and can't walk very well, on lots of medication for heart high BP and aterial fibrillation too, seizures, bones, dementia, water tablet and more around 12 a day and a few do mention can affect sugars, he has his water tablet (swollen feet) when then get too swollen and he took it that day so going to keep an eye on his sugars see if that causes it. Think his insulin is the mix one of fast and slow acting. Overall I think he has too much carbs he does like to eat but am thinking given his lifestyle he needs much less intake, his sugars are so random, he was over 15 last night at 10pm ish bedtime and then dropped to 4 early this morning, he worries so much about his health and probably is depressed as well am sure, he has hallucinations in the night when he wakes up and dementia about not living in his home, strangers looking after him allsorts, he can relate television as being his own reality at times so all this will affect his sugars too.
I think things would be better if his sugars were more even.
Could do with a good book recommend for low carb meals for DB.
