Welcome to the forum, you will find it a mine of information.
Would you like to share a bit about your diagnosis, how long, if you are on any medication, what your HbA1C is as that will help people give you tailored suggestions.
What specifically are you struggling with.

Hi Gary and welcome. Sorry to hear you are struggling. Have you been diagnosed long and what particularly are you struggling with?

It would help to know what if any medication you have been given for your diabetes and what your most recent HbA1c result is if you know it..... this is the blood test result used to diagnose and track your diabetes journey and will usually be a number in excess of 47 but can be into 3 figures if your body is not coping very well. The good news is that there are plenty of things you can try to bring it down and slow and steady is the best and safest way. Having the right advice and guidance can make a huge difference to your success in managing your diabetes and finding the right approach for you as an individual will be an important part of that, so we can suggest different things you can try but you will have to see which of them is effective and suits your body and your lifestyle and tastes.

There are quite a few of us here who are now fitter and slimmer and healthier than we have been for many years as a result of making some lifestyle changes so in some respects there have been positives to come from becoming diabetic as it was the kick up the pants we needed to make some changes that we had been avoiding for a while. I hope we can help you to find a similar improvement in your health and wellbeing by making some simple changes.

Hi Gary welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear your struggling. I've been there, I found testing helps keeps me focused.

Hi @Garyb1661
welcome hope you find the help & info your looking for on here,
when we’re you diagnosed ?

Hello Gary… we can help ! Please let us know what aspects you are struggling with. Xx

Hello Gary.
Feel free to ask any questions or just share your fears and concerns.
We are all at various stages of our journeys with diabetes but one thing I know is true for everybody - good information means our lives can be safer, easier and healthier.
In my specific case I am now far healthier and happier three years on from my own diagnosis than I was for decades before. It is a journey and like all journeys begins with single steps, one at a time.
