Perhaps unfairly but I view it as snake-oil.

Diabetes UK does not recommend the use of herbal remedies and supplements, as there is not enough evidence that they are safe and effective for people with diabetes to use.

Diabetes UK recommend that you discuss this with your healthcare team before considering taking any supplements and get the advice from a HCP.

But please do feel free to start a new introductory thread to tell us a bit more about yourself. How long have you lived with diabetes? Do you take any medication for it?
