Hayfever medication and diabetes- any advice or info?

Hi @Plw, welcome to the forum.

I'm T1, but I currently use Clarityn tablets (Loratidine) once daily and Beconase nasal spray. Neither have the slightest effect on my diabetes, and the tablets don't interfere with any oral diabetic treatments, or make you drowsy. This applies to virtually any of the standard over the counter treatments, though some may make you drowsy, but reading the label will tell you that.

I’d advise to take hayfever medication if you have troubling hayfever symptoms
 
I take Beconase when it’s bad and cetirizine tablets on a more regular basis. In the past, I’ve found older anti-histamines seemed to lower my blood sugar, so I’m always wary and stick to one’s I know are ok.
