I was on trasiba insulin, I am a type 1 diabetic and have diabetes since I was 20. I was on Lantas and I am again. I had some severe side effects from Tresiba . I have copd and my copd got so bad that I could not walk two feet without being our of air. I went from being able to walk a ways then sit down and catch my breath. My ankles were very swollen and I was exhausted. I too me like a month on the trisiba to realize it was the a causing the problem Im wondering if anybody else has had the problem with this insulin. I made appointments with a cardiologist and a pulmonary doctor. The cardiologist put me on a stronger blood pressure medicine as well as a water pill. Then he sent me to a friend of his that is a pulmanoligest The pulmonary doctor had put me on a number of inhalers. Im just curious if there are any other problems with trasiba. Please let me know. I am on oxygen 24 hour a day right now but am praying things will get better.

Hi ubetmom2, welcome to the forum 🙂 I've not heard of anyone here reporting similar problems with tresiba, I wonder if you are allergic to something in its preparation?
