I take Glucosamine daily for arthritis is this likely to cause a problem with my Type 2?

Never noticed any affect on my Blood Sugar levels. Though i stopped and did not notice any increase in pain or movement. Now don't need as had my knee replaced.

I’ve found over the years that Co-Q10 has helped my knee pain. Whilst in hospital in February I stopped but recently started quite bad joint and muscle. I’m on Metformin plus five heart meds. Starting the Co-Q10 again has had a marked effect on my aches & pains and so far so good.

Hello again @MickW 🙂

This respected US clinic seems to suggest it should not affect your Bg levels.

I'm Type 2 and have been taking Glucosamine sulphate 1500mg for years to no apparent ill effect. I checked with my GP whether doing so was OK and was told there should be no problem. Regards Nick
