Hi all, I'm newly diagnosed T1D and have always done a lot of cycling / running. I have a Libre 2 Plus prescribed through the NHS which I view through my iPhone 15 on the app LibreLink. I want to be able to display by glucose level whilst recording activities on my Garmin devices (Forerunner 735XT and Edge 820). I've downloaded ConnectIQ and can see advice online about third party apps but I'm struggling to connect it all together. Can anyone offer help to the right third party app/widgets and how I connect this all together to view on my Garmin devices? Many thanks Steve

HI @stevewolst and welcome to the forum - I love an app/gadget and have a setup on my watch but unfortunately it's not a Garmin so I have no idea! However, if you look at the facebook group "Libre Geeks" there is a good chance someone on there has done it (Check the documents section) - Hope your recent T1 diagnosis is going ok (we all know it's not easy!)

I think @SimonP is the best person to ask here. I'm very new to this too and am just waiting to see whether I'm definitely T1 and thus eligible for Libre before I commit.

I have the trial patch but don't want to find I like it and then have to self-fund so haven't tried to link to my Epix Pro Gen2 yet.

If I do qualify for Libre though I'll be all over it!

The datafield and watchface I used are linked here: https://forum.diabetes.org.uk/boards/threads/question-for-current-xdrip-users.108143/#post-1291084

To make this work you need something that provides a Nightscout compatible local webserver on your phone (e.g XDrip+ or Juggluco assuming you don't actually run a Nightscout setup itself - if you don't know, you don't!)

I run Android not an iPhone, and I've just realised you have an iPhone. I believe the Apple version of XDrip, which is not particularly related to the Android version, also supports the local webserver which allows the watchface + headunit widgets to work, but I've no experience of it I'm afraid. There are some posts on the forum from people looking to integrate Apple + Garmin, but I must admit I've never paid very much attention, sorry!

Edit - this is Android specific:
I like the GUI and logging which XDrip+ provides, but I use Juggluco to talk to the libre2 sensor, and it passes the data onto XDrip+. I assume Libre2+ is supported but as I'm not on them yet I can't be sure. I'm also not altogether sure whether you can run Juggluco alongside the official LibreLink app. Afaiu Juggluco can do uploads so could completely replace the LibreLink app (and I'd just get on and do this if I were you and then deal with whomever needs to see your data once you have a working setup - my consultant is happy with Tidepool, which XDrip+ uploads to, but as mentioned above I believe Juggluco should be able to pretend to be LibreLink so your healthcare team should never even know.)

Found a file on "Libre Geeks" FB Page (you would need to join the group) which may help (highlighted one at the bottom):
