Hi all, looking to raise money in 2013, and would like to raise for a charity that supports people with Diabetes. I assume Diabetes Uk is the main one, however are parents aware of any tat support children in particular?

Good luck withthe fun raising, every thing helps cover the cost of research and improving lives.

Raising money for JDRF means your cash will be more likely to go towards cure research.

JDRF and Diabetes UK both fund research that could help us to find a cure for diabetes. However, both charities also invest in research focused on improving methods of treatment and prevention.

Hopefully we will find a cure for diabetes, but most scientists agree that this could take a long time. In the meantime, it?s important that we also invest in research that could improve our understanding of diabetes and improve the lives of people with diabetes in the short and medium term.

Do take a look at our research project directory, which includes all of the projects we are currently funding ? including many projects in children and many that work towards our aim of a future without diabetes and its complications.

Research Directory.
