Have had a couple of nights where I could actual get out of the house 🙂 First night was a flop managed to get out but could not force myself into a pub.

Second night some friends said come out with them, this time managed to get into the pub 🙂, had just over a pint of larger (left some in the glass) and went hypo around 12:30 am. Not good walking home like a drunken bum, (new hypo sign for me) tested and was 3.3.

Last night went out again had a bit of a problem going into the pub, when I did go in met some other old friends 🙂. Asked for a diet coke after a problem with the pump and checking it was diet I wanted, end up with a coke, which was a bit flat.

I double checked with them that it was diet coke, then later on I tested and BS was in the 11's where normally would be in the 7's got the feeling it was full fat coke, it did not taste like normal diet coke, though not that keen on coke so took their word for it. :(

Dead easy way to check if a soft drink is diet or not - dip your fingers in it and let them dry. If your fingers are really sticky, it's a regular soft drink. If they're not, it's probably diet.

That's a GREAT tip! Thank you 🙂

People also use 'diastix' (urine glucose dipsticks) too I think.
