Hi there,

I'm looking at some food of diary for my dad where he can recorded before and after, dosage and meals. He has Libre and currently recording meals in a notebook but it looks painful to reference back.

So far I'm looking at something like this

https://amzn.eu/d/9si4RBQ but it seems to only have 60 days and other information like fasting that isn't needed.

Or something like this https://shop.diabetes.org.uk/products/diabetes-log-book-diaries but ideally like it in the ring binder format

I use these, which you can order for free from Novo Nordisk:

Ok thanks, what do the pages allow you to record? I can't really see on the novo site image for it

If you have a laptop/pc can you not just do yourself a simple spreadsheet and print it off, in fact if you search online there are probably already free ones you can use or alter to suit your own situation. Cheers 😎

Yeah I have seen various downloads but ideally want something a bit more in diary/book form without the faff of printing. Just curious what others use

What about a page a day diary, you can get spiral bound ones

I use this f om Box Clever Press in Amazon. Had one for last year too. I use the long column to record my morning and evening basal doses, and the 3 sections for my 3 meals, different bolus ratios and notes if any. I also log when i need to discard vials as i dont finish my basal within n the 6 weeks
as im on such low doses. I also record my bolus timings as im extremely sensitive to freshley injected insuline . Ive found using this much easier to work problems out instead of the libre app.

Hope the diary works out for your Dad @stuarta

Keeping records can really help adjust and tweak doses and prebolus strategies as insulin sensitivity changes through the year.
