Hi, I'm new to this forum but have been a diabetic for 37 years.... I currently use two meters, a lifescan ultra easy one touch and an accucheck mobile for blood tests. The reason for this post is that I'm looking for a reliable database software that reads data from both meters into a single database so i can analyse the data. I currently use the accucheck 360 database but this keeps crashing and losing my data, plus it can't read the lifescan data directly. I would appreciate any experiences with this type of thing.
Cheers Steve

Hi Steve and welcome to the forum.
Have you tried Diasend? Just google it and it should appear 🙂

Hi, welcome to the forum 🙂

I seem to remember member NiVZ having a stab at writing some software to upload data from meters including the one touch into a database, not sure how far he got with it or if it included accucheks....

This is the thread:

Haven't seen him on here for a while but he might still be reading so might be able to help 🙂

Thanks Sue, Yes I looked at Diasend (The Hospital use this) but you cannot get a home user license for this unless I use an insulin pump and I don't.... I thought this would be the best solution but hey, there's always writing down the old fashioned way..

sounds most odd, can you not just ring the meter company and ask how to set it up? http://diasend.com/site/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=45&Itemid=113&lang=en having looked at the info it does not imply that you can not use for home use.

Hello,

I'm still lurking, reading more than posting these days.

I managed to read data from a couple of the OneTouch meters but didn't get anywhere near a finished product.

I seem to remember liking a free piece of software called SiDiary which could read from different meters. Could be worth a try.
